Collaboration

Collaboration is my word for 2012. To collaborate simply means working together to achieve a goal. To be honest this past year I felt a bit like I was on an island doing everything myself. Things including graphics, music, voiceovers, story ideas and even editing. In the creative world this can be a dangerous slipper slope ending in burnt out and mediocre work. So this year I am determined to collaborate with artist, musicians, filmmakers, VO artist and photographers from different walks of life. We are all created differently and have a unique perspective we can bring to each project.

Proverbs 27:17 says Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another. As we work together we make each other better and inspire one another to push a little farther. We all need each other and can’t rely on our own strength to carry the load. Collaboration is a must.

So hit me up and lets collaborate over skype, twitter, FB and even real life hangout time when we are in the same area. I’m excited about what this next year will bring and working together to create something that changes the way we and other people think.
